The Nook actually is backlit to make it easy to read in the daytime or nighttime. But you can adjust the color and font to make sure that you can eliminate eyestrain easily, and that’s what most users do.
With the Kindle you can download 3,500 books, and with the Nook Color 1,500 books, but the memory can be expanded to download more.
The kids books feature is really amazing, too. Not only can you download colorful books, but they can be put on “read to me” feature so kids can hear the book read and follow along with the words to help them to read. This would be great for a long road trip when you don’t want your kids watching too many movies all the time.
